Meeting with the Barangay Officials and Purok Leaders for the Childhood Immunization Information Dissemination
On July 5 and 9, the Kabadis conducted meetings with Barangay Officials and Purok Leaders to discuss more effective ways of disseminating information about Childhood Immunization.
Previously, it was only the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) who were responsible for informing parents about the vaccination schedules. They usually did this through house-to-house announcements, especially in remote areas without cellphone signal for text or social media.
Because of this, the Kabadis proposed a new system—involving the Purok Leaders in spreading the information. With this, the need for BHWs to go house-to-house can be reduced.
The Kabadis also emphasized the importance of repeated reminders to parents so they won’t forget their child’s vaccination schedule. In the said meeting, the Purok Leaders promised to remind the parents a few days before the scheduled vaccination.
It’s true—progress in health can be achieved when everyone in the barangay works together!
We must all help each other to achieve a NEW BEGINNING for all Kabadis of Banker!
Let’s say YES to a healthier and STRONGER BANKER!

The duties of the club officers include organizing activities that promote healthy lifestyle modifications and raising awareness about hypertension in the community.

"Implementing Guidelines on the Organization of Health Clubs for Patients with Hypertension and Diabetes in Health Facilities."
We hope that the elected officers will become an inspiration and leaders for the hypertensives in the barangay, promote good health, and show concern for the state of hypertension in their community.

The Kabadis were thrilled to witness and actively support Cluster 3, which includes Barangays Sanghanan, Banker, Goodyear, and Tampilisan—home to many of our very own volunteers and friends!
One of the highlights of the day was the Salu-Salo during lunchtime, where participants joyfully shared homemade nutritious meals, most of which came straight from their booth exhibits.
