For our current exposure, we will be planning for the interventions on the different identified health problems in Barangay Banker. BARANGAY BANKER’S FIRST FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY
In Barangay Banker, the first Monday of the year begins with a deep sense of patriotism. As Filipino student doctors, we must carry our heritage and pride within us as we strive for excellence in the field of health—always remembering our commitment to serve our fellow Filipinos.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, the barangay officials of Banker organized a lively Zumba session for everyone, which the Kabadis enthusiastically joined. The Kabadis never miss an opportunity to promote health and fitness!

During our visit to the RHU, we had a consultation with Dr. Eric Cabayacruz, the Municipal Health Officer (MHO) of Kabasalan and our community preceptor, as well as Ma’am Jonelle Villaflores, Kabasalan’s Sanitary Inspector, to discuss the planning phase of our Community Health Management.

Kabadis joined the First Barangay Session of Banker for the Year 2025
We had the privilege of participating in Barangay Banker’s first session of the year, where ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ shared the objectives of our third community exposure on behalf of the group. Celebration of the Feast of Sto. Niño, Viva Pit Senyor!
The Kabadis were invited to celebrate the feast of Sto. Niño at Purok 1 Barangay Banker. This celebration expresses the gratitude and reverence of the residents for the divine protection and blessings attributed to the Sto. Niño.
A mass was held in the chapel of purok 1. The mass was attended by faithful catholics, who gathered in reverence to celebrate the Feast of Sto. Niño. The chapel was filled with an air of devotion, as families, friends, and individuals of all ages came together to honor the Holy Child Jesus.

Blood Pressure Taking during the Senior Citizen Assembly
Sa Barangay Banker, dili lang initiative ang mga senior citizens para sa kaayuhan ng barangay, mag-initiate din gyud sila para sa kanilang maayong panglawas!
Today, the ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ป’๐ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐ฆ๐๐) ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ, led by ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐๐๐น๐ถ๐ผ ๐ฃ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒñ๐ฎ, had their first assembly of the year. To support the health and well-being of the attendees, they invited the Kabadis to conduct blood pressure monitoring for everyone present.

Pagpurga ng mga Chikiting sa Barangay Banker
๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด is essential for maintaining good health, especially in children. It helps prevent malnutrition, boosts immunity, and ensures proper growth and development. Regular deworming protects against harmful parasites and promotes overall well-being.
In Barangay Banker, the deworming of children is conducted every January and July of the year. This is done by the barangay health workers (BHS) of Barangay Banker.
Through the continued efforts of our barangay health workers and the support of the community, we can ensure that children grow up healthier, stronger, and free from the risks associated with parasitic infections. Let us all work together to raise awareness and encourage participation in this vital health initiative.

In community health management, building and maintaining rapport is a continuous process. On January 20, 2025, the Kabadis had the privilege of attending Kabasalan's flag-raising ceremony, accompanied by our esteemed community preceptor, Dr. Eric Cabayacruz. This event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with government workers from various offices in Kabasalan.

On January 22, 2025, we presented our intervention plans to address the top three identified health concerns in the barangay. During this meeting, we also sought valuable suggestions from the council to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of these interventions.
